Brahmas have resigned forward Jason Deitsch. This will mark the third season that #19 suits up for the Brahmas. Last year an injury prevented a call up to the AHL first part of the season. Deitsch is the first announced player for the 2010 - 2011 season.
In other Central Hockey League News Amarillo and Corpus Christi have announced that they will not compete in the Central Hockey League this coming season. They are opting instead to field a Jr. team that plays in the NAHL along with the Texas Tornados.
The Brahmas also announced this week that they will be fielding a Jr. team that will compete in the Western States Hockey League. The team will be called the Jr. Brahmas, and will feature kids 16-21 years old from all over the country and possibly other parts of the world as well. If you remember a couple years back the Texas Renegades played out of the Nytex Sports Centre, the new Jr. Brahmas team will compete in the same league.
So does that mean that we're going to be playing 2am games now?
ReplyDeleteGreat news for the Bronze league since Deitch's agent had him signed with the Stingers in case the Brahma's negotiatons broke down...
ReplyDeleteSo much for the "secret" negotiations between us and Deitch - come on, we had to try something after finding out MikeyMo is officially listed on the Bandit's roster - see for yourself!
ReplyDeleteMike Modano does not have his USAH. Nytex finally enforcing before a player gets on the ice.
ReplyDelete#9 - Blackhawks
It figures, NYTEX is quick to inforce the USAH requirement but looks the other way on players playing out of their appropriate league...
ReplyDeleteWhip out the sandy-vag dust buster......whiney bitches.
