MIB (5-0) vs Jets (2-3)
What are your thoughts on this one? MIB gonna be 6-0 or do the Jets pull one out and get back to 3-3.

The jets are on the joes level so mib 5-3 in this one
ReplyDeleteNot to take anything away from MIB but I think the last half of thier schedule will prove to be harder than the first. I think they will beat the Jets but I also believe they will have a much harder time against theh Bandits, Whalers and Jumpers than anything else they have faced this season.

ReplyDeleteLol, all you talkers out there. I bet none of you ever dropped the gloves on the ice in your life, much less slapped or pulled hair. Why do you all bag on the Jets so much? They aren't a bad team. There are other teams out there that play dirty, hack n wack, and actually do some glove dropping. I think the bad side of the Jets team has moved on to the Sens now.

ReplyDeleteGlove dropping talk is funny. If your gonna fight, make sure it is mutual and not just one guy losing his cool and throwing punches at another guy with a cage on. Both parties need to mutually agree to go, then throw helmets off, drop the gloves, and have at it. Lots of tough guys in this league that think that they can run their mouths and then throw a cheap shot in there.

ReplyDelete1-2 game suspension from what I've heard. But I'm sure if you seriously hurt someone you would be banned from Nytex for at least 1 year.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you should worry more about staying on your skates and less about what kind of punishment you'd receive for getting dummied by talented players.

ReplyDeleteGood game MIB, I realize it got kinda chippy in the second probaly my fault. I would like to mention however if your going to bitch about a stick up high, don't pop my stick up. I have Teranusoarous? Rex arms and if you pop my stick it's going to come up high probaly in your face. Sorry bout that. The aftermath was purely me just not wanting to go to the sin bin alone. Thanks for the game, I enjoyed it.

ReplyDeleteIf the score had been 11-7 there would be no issue. I don't see how them not having a goalie stopped them from scoring? Why don't we all just share the keg this season? Would that make everyone feel better? What does running up the score even mean? When a team is not at your level or is at a disadvantage go easy on them so we are unprepared for next week's team that actually showed up ready to win? No thank you.
ReplyDeleteWe had no goalie for the first 7 minutes or so of our game vs Stingers (thanks Perry for helping out in the first period) and it turned out to be a pretty good game.

ReplyDeleteTrue - not having a goalie doesn't impair scoring ability, but when you don't have a goalie, it does keep you from being as aggressive on the offensive side. It wouldn't have made a difference in the outcome of the game, but the score might have been a little closer. At the end of the day, our fault for not having confirmed our sub would be there. Otherwise, it was a fun game, which is what's it's really all about.
