Wednesday the 24th the Brahmas return home to the Nytex Sports Centre. Game Two vs. Corpus at 7:05. Brahmas won game one in dramatic fashion. Tyler Skworchinski scores with 17 seconds left to send it to OT where James Hiebert closes the door.
A win on Wednesday and Brahmas will advance to face Odessa in the Conf. Semi Finals. Call about the special Bronze and Silver League rates.

ReplyDeleteThe Brahmas took care of business tonight, advancing past the first ound of the playoffs with a 2 - 0 win against Corpus Christi, scoring both goals in the first period to take the win. Jaeger looked solid between the pipes, registering a shutout, despite several good shots from the Ding Rays. The moment of the night for me though was when Berto took down the lumbering defenseman, Later, of the Rays with a great open ice check late in the third period. Later didn't even bother to get up after the check, rather, he just rolled over and skated to the bench with his tail btween his legs, evident of the effort the Rays would put forth for the rest of the game.
Now it is on to face Odessa. Keep up the good work, boys!
