Nytex Announces 2nd Over 35 League...The Expansion Six

Pass Along to your teams…we will have an Expansion 6 Tournament over the holiday break. Each of the 6 teams will play each other once and the top 2 teams will play in a championship game Jan 6th at 930PM. Games will be three 15 minute periods. 5 minute OT and Shootout if necessary for each game.

Championship and Finalist T Shirts for 1st and 2nd place.

Throw-back Jerseys from the Expansion 6 teams will be provided and the fee is $129.00 per person. Subs are not allowed until the team has reached at least 13 paid players and 1 goalie. League reserves the right to adjust rosters to make sure the teams are competitive.

Teams/Coordinators:

Currently I have the following coordinators for these teams. Chad Siewert’s Flyers and Knute Anderson’s North Stars.

Free Agents simply sign up and will be assigned by me to a team.

Pretty much the same rules from the Original Six league this past summer apply. We will strictly enforce the zero tolerance rule whereas fighting and major penalties are grounds for dismissal from the league. Everyone did a great job last season, so let’s keep it going this Holiday Break with this Showcase.

Rookie Rule:

Any player from the age of 30 to 34 can be considered. Teams can roster up to 3 of these “Rooks”. Candidates should not be “Ringers”.
Go to our website at Nytexsports.com and look for Expasion 6 or Hockey Information.

  6. whats with the epic fail this season on keeping up points and team records?

  7. The front desk is doing a poor job of keeping up with the score sheets and rosters, and it's forcing the volunteers to "guess" at a lot of things.

  8. Being the Holiday season is there a schedule already in place? I am interested but can't commit the cash if the game times and dates don't work.
