Finals Preview???

Saturday Night we have what very well could be a finals preview in Mayhem vs the reigning Keg Holding MIB.   MIB played solid all season in their march to the Stanley Keg, and Mayhem has shown no signs of being slowed down this season.   These two titans will tustle tomorrow night at Nytex.   Whose cuisine will reign supreme?   My money is on Mayhem, I think they are going to be too strong for MIB.   MIB will more than likely have a deeper bench, but Mayhem will wear them down.

3-2 Mayhem...

  1. Mayhem will win this one. They will also beat them in the Finals if MIB gets there but I think it may be Bandits vs. Mayhem for the Keg.

  2. well it can't be the Mayhem and MIB in the finals because they are in the same division anyways. just saying

  3. I believe the divisions are gone. Both of these are Bronze league teams and could compete for the Keg. Copper teams will compete for thier own trophy.

  4. yes they are gone for the next session but not the current one that is being played. Check the league lineup and will show what division the teams are in.

  5. My money is on MIB...Carlson is just bitter because MIB beat the Whalers last season and he can't hack it in the Silver league.

  6. Mayhem skates away with it...literally! They are a C team playing down; though MIB was on top 2-1, with no real "lower level" players, Mayhem scored 5 unanswered to win 6-2. Fights broke out in 3rd after worst officiated game I've seen in years finally boiled over with slashes and checks. Mayhem , if all players are truly eligible, will roll through to the keg.

  7. Wasnt there a fight between these two teams? If so, what happened to the no tolerance policy? Who is getting booted from the league? Hopefully the Mayhem will lose their best player.

  9. Copper league can't come soon enough.

  10. Copper, Bronze, Silver and Gold.

What the fuck is this garbage?

    A, B, C and D.

Simple as that. No player can play down more than one level, or on more than one team in any level. Make the winner of a division move up, with no exception and the last place team in any level move down, if they want to.

There HAS to be black and white rules. Not grey ones, open for interpritation.

Until then, it will be a free for all. We all know not very many people will keep themselves in check. They will always push the envelope to see just how much they can get away with... But go "over the line" as far as they are concerned with them.... Watch out, they will bitch louder than anyone.

  11. I think copper is more appropriate. No need to change the names of the existing leagues for a select few teams that need to move down. But how many teams are there that don't have at least 1 silver league player and acutally want to compete in copper? This is going to be a 2-4 team league.

  12. I don't want to say the comment about Mayhem being a "C" league team playing down is stupid, but it is. Follow the link anonymous posted that shows the line-up. Most of those players are not on the Mayhem as it exists now. Second look at the standings.

Mayhem lost as many as they won,the ceeding was based on games played. Van Buren Boys only lost 2 games but only played 16. Get your facts straight.
People need to quit griping and play. I don't hear anyone crying about MIB being a bunch of worthless dirty hackers!!!!!!!!

  13. Dirty hackers is a title reserved for the Bandits.

  14. People complained about MIB before Mayhem came in and beat them. Now we complain about Mayhem. Can you guess who we will complain about next? You guessed it!If you are winning in this league the general consensus is that you are doing something wrong.

  15. The Roster that was posted for Mayhem at Euless was a really good team, However they split into 2 teams. Mayhem is trying to decide whether or not to move up too the silver league, as it is not fun to either team when one team has to hold back so they do not just dominate. The games Mayhem played against MIB and Bandits were close to decent. However the game last night against the Keller Indians was not a fair mach. Mayhem does not want to be a dominant team, they just want to compete, hang with friends, drink beer and have fun.

  16. That's about the toughest competition you will see Mayhem. There are a few other decent teams and then you are going to see teams that MIB and Bandits dominate worse than you did them. If you are seriously looking for a challenge you have pretty much seen all that the Bronze league has to offer. I would make the jump now if Nytex will let you or just wait till next season.

The right thing to do for Mayhem is go ahead and unload on teams. beat them 14-0, or even 20-0, and then do the RIGHT THING which is forfeit the first playoff game, and leave the battle for the Keg up to the folks who trully deserve to be plaing for it.

  20. So why has all the Mayhem games been removed from the schedule?

  21. They have made the jump to silver mid season. Good for them and I hope you guys have more fun there with a little competition. I heard that the teams that they defeated will also be awarded an overtime loss since the rest of the teams will not get to lose to them. So I guess we are back to hating MIB.
